Slack Integration

When you enable the Usermaven to Slack integration in your Slack Workspace:

• You can receive analytics and KPI reports directly in your designated Slack channels
• Stay up-to-date with your website and product's performance metrics without leaving Slack

Enabling the Slack Integration

To enable the Slack Integration, you must be logged in to Usermaven.

1. Click on the Workspace Settings gear in the top right corner of your Usermaven dashboard
2. Navigate to "Integrations" and select "Slack"
3. Click on the "Add to Slack" button to install the Usermaven app to your Slack Workspace
4. Once authorized, you'll be redirected back to the Slack integration page in Usermaven to select channels.

Configure Slack in your reports

After enabling the integration, you can set up which reports you want to receive and in which Slack channels:

1. Go to the Reports from left menu.
2. Click on new report button.
3. Add a name of your report and select type of report i.e website analytics.
4. Choose the Slack channel where you want to receive the report
5. Set the frequency of the report (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly)
6. Click "Create Report".

You can set up multiple reports for different channels based on your team's needs.

Interacting with Reports in Slack

When a report is posted in Slack, you can:

• React with emojis to acknowledge the report
• Start a thread to discuss the metrics with your team

Troubleshooting

If you're not receiving reports or experiencing other issues:

1. Check that the Usermaven app still has the necessary permissions in Slack
2. Verify that the integration is still active in your Usermaven settings
3. Ensure that the Slack channels you've selected still exist and Usermaven has access to them
