Share your website analytics dashboard
Usermaven maintains the privacy of your website stats by default. However, if you choose to make them public, you'll receive a unique public stats dashboard URL that allows you to share your website statistics with a broader audience, granting them access to valuable insights and data. This feature empowers you to decide how transparent you want to be with your website analytics, whether it's for internal collaboration or sharing insights with the world.
To open up your website stats to the public:
-
Log in to your Usermaven account and navigate to the web analytics page.
-
On the web analytics page, you will find the "Share" option. Click on it to initiate the sharing process.
-
After clicking "Share", you will be presented with a shareable link that leads to your stats dashboard. Below the link, you'll notice the options for sharing.
If you want anyone with the link to be able to view your dashboard without requiring a password, enable the toggle associated with this option. Enabling this toggle ensures that anyone you share the link with will have direct access to your dashboard.
Password protection
Adding password protection to your shared link in Usermaven is an excellent way to enhance the security of your stats dashboard. This means that only individuals who have both the shared link and the correct password will be able to access and view the dashboard. It's a useful feature to ensure that your data remains confidential and is only accessible to those individuals you've specifically granted permission to. This added layer of security helps protect your analytics insights from unauthorized access.
When you enable password protection for your Usermaven stats dashboard and share the link with others, clicking on the link will lead them to a page where they are prompted to enter the password.
Accessing a password protected dashboard
Only individuals who have the correct password will be able to access your stats dashboard, ensuring that your data remains secure and accessible only to authorized users. This added layer of security gives you control over who can view your analytics insights, even if they have the link to the dashboard.
By following these steps, you can easily control the accessibility of your website stats in Usermaven. Whether you opt for public access or password protection, Usermaven provides you with the flexibility to share your insights securely or openly with others.
